A logo with a slant gives the touch of dynamism and movement of airlines companies.
Logo Design, Typography and Stationery
The logo is composed of the negative space that forms the union of the letters d and i. In addition, it leans imitating the shape of the tail of an airplane to give it the movement of a transport company
To maintain the Swiss identity we used one typeface in 3 different weights.
Suisse Intl Bold for the logotype; and Suisse Regular & Light, for the rest of the text.
Use of logo, Colour Palette & Application
The company wanted to use red and white as two of its main colours to showcase its Swiss image. However, they didn't want the red to be as vivid or bright as the one on their national flag, because it could also look aggressive. A dark red colour was chosen to make it looks more elegant.
It was also complemented with white, black and three shades of gray to create a variety of combinations for all the brand.
The logo along with some parallel diagonal lines is applied to their trucks and small delivery vehicles while maintaining that feeling of mobility.
